Ivybrook Academy Apex is opening its campus on Holly Springs Road to local families for a free Fall Family Funday on Saturday, Nov. 14, and anyone planning to go needs to sign up first.

The morning runs from 9 a.m. to noon at 8715 Holly Springs Road and is aimed at toddlers, preschoolers and their parents. The school’s flyer calls it “a morning packed with hands-on fun, active play, and creative discovery,” and adds: “Siblings & Friends Welcome!”

Children get crafts, music and movement, an outdoor game zone and snacks. For the adults there is a coffee bar and what the flyer calls “casual connection with local parents & caregivers.” The school describes the event as a chance for families “to enjoy a morning of activities and connect with other parents in the community.”

Entry is free, but places are capped. “Advance registration required - Spots limited!” the flyer says.
