The Henley, a 370-unit apartment community at 1211 Chapel Ridge Road, is finished, its developer said. Thirteen units are set aside as affordable. What it has and who to call.

A 370-unit apartment community called The Henley is finished at 1211 Chapel Ridge Road in Apex. Its developer, High Street Residential, announced the completion Monday.

High Street Residential is the residential arm of the developer Trammell Crow Company. Its release, carried by the trade site Yield PRO, describes four-story buildings on 22 acres.

What the developer says it built

According to the release:

  • 370 apartments, from studios to three bedrooms, 580 to 1,361 square feet.
  • 13 affordable units for households earning 60% of the area median income.
  • Shared spaces including a fitness center with a yoga studio, a clubhouse, a coworking space, a pool, a dog park and a private dining room with a demonstration kitchen.
  • Parking and transport with private garages, EV charging, bike storage and an e-bike share.
  • Greenway access to the North Beavercreek Greenway.

Rule Joy Trammell+Rubio designed the community and L.F. Jennings built it, the release said. Greystar manages and leases it.

“Our vision was to create more than just apartments,” Josh Dix, a principal with High Street Residential in Raleigh, said in the release.

What it costs to live there

The release gives no rents. Greystar’s listing for The Henley does not post base rents either, but it lists the monthly fees added on top:

Monthly fee Amount
Internet $70
Doorstep trash service $25
Trash hauling $8
Utility billing administration $3.75
Pest control $3

Electricity, water and sewer are billed by use, according to the listing. For comparison, the typical asking rent in Apex was $1,947 in September 2026, up 0.6% on the year. That figure comes from the Zillow Observed Rent Index, an estimate for the middle of the market, not a list of actual leases.

What it means for you

If you are looking to rent, the leasing office is at 1211 Chapel Ridge Road. It is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, and the phone number is 984-265-2681, according to Greystar’s listing. Ask for the full monthly cost, including the fees above, before you sign.

If you qualify for an affordable unit, ask the leasing office how to apply for one of the 13 set aside at 60% of the area median income. The release does not say how many are still available.

For the town, 370 apartments is a large addition in one place. By comparison, the Census Bureau’s Building Permits Survey shows Apex authorized 40 new homes in September 2026, all single-family houses.
