15 breakfast restaurants and coffee shops inside Apex town limits, downtown on Salem and Hunter streets, on West Williams Street, Kelly Road and Sweetwater.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Apex’s coffee shops cluster downtown, where two cafes share a building on North Salem Street and Foxtail Coffee is on Hunter Street. The sit-down breakfast restaurants are out on the shopping corridors: West Williams Street and Beaver Creek Commons, Kelly Road, Perry Road and East Williams Street. Sweetwater on Richardson Road has a second Foxtail.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Apex’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added Eggs Up Grill, First Watch, Foxtail Coffee and Popovers Cafe from their own sites. Haraz Coffee, Peak City Diner, the two Starbucks stores and Turkish Coffee Lady are listed from Wake County’s restaurant inspection data, which also gives their phones, because their own pages would not show details to us or we could not find one. We left out Bruegger’s Bagels on West Williams Street, whose location page no longer exists and which is not in the county’s current list, and the Hwy 55 on Perry Road, where the county now lists Peak City Diner. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
