Where to get pizza in Apex: downtown, West Williams Street and more

Apex’s pizza places run from a family pizzeria on Salem Street downtown to delivery chains in the shopping centers along West Williams Street, where five of the 14 places on this list sit. Others are on Perry Road near East Williams Street, Apex Peakway, Kelly Road, Pine Plaza Drive, U.S. 64 and Ten Ten Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Apex’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added Big Sergio’s Pizza, J&S New York Pizza and Romeo’s Pizza, which are listed in Wake County’s restaurant inspection data at Apex addresses; we could not find a website of their own, so the county record and its phone number are our source. Mezza Luna Pizzeria now holds the West Williams Street permit the map gave to Johnny’s Pizza, and we left out a map entry with no name or address we could confirm. The list is alphabetical. Anna’s Pizzeria is downtown on North Salem Street. Its site says the owners cook from family recipes handed down from an aunt who came from Italy, and it lists pizza beside Italian dishes. Order online through its site.

Big Sergio’s Pizza is on Ten Ten Road. Wake County lists it as a permitted restaurant; call for hours and the menu.

Domino’s has two Apex stores, on Perry Road and at 1284 W. Williams St. Both location pages list pizza, wings and pasta for carryout and delivery.

J&S New York Pizza is on Perry Road. Wake County lists it as a permitted restaurant; call for hours.

Marco’s Pizza is the chain’s Kelly Road store. Its location page would not show hours to us.

Mezza Luna Pizzeria holds a Wake County permit at 1763 W. Williams St. The Mezza Luna website we found does not list an Apex location, so call to check hours.

Michelangelo’s Pizza on U.S. 64 says it serves pizza and Italian classics made fresh and lists stromboli and calzones among the dishes it is known for. It takes reservations and private parties.

Namoli’s NY Pizzeria is in Olive Chapel Village on Apex Peakway, its site says.

Papa John’s on West Williams Street lists pizza, breadsticks and wings for carryout and delivery.

Papa Murphy’s on West Williams Street is the take-and-bake chain: you pick up an unbaked pizza and bake it at home. Its location page would not load for us.

Pizza Hut Express has a location page at 1201 Beaver Creek Commons Drive with no hours or phone listed.

Romeo’s Pizza is in the West Williams Street shopping center at No. 800. Wake County lists it as a permitted restaurant.

Ruckus Pizza, Pasta & Spirits on Pine Plaza Drive is part of a Triangle group that opened its first restaurant near N.C. State in 1999, its site says, built around food, music and somewhere to gather.
