9 Apex restaurants and cafes whose own sites list a patio or outdoor seating, downtown, on Kelly Road, Apex Peakway, East Williams Street and Sweetwater.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Outdoor tables in Apex are easiest to find downtown, where Common Grounds sets tables out front on North Salem Street and Foxtail Coffee has a patio on Hunter Street. Away from downtown, patios are at Kelly Road, Apex Peakway, Beaver Creek Commons, East Williams Street, Teachey Place and Sweetwater on Richardson Road.

How we made this list. The candidates come from OpenStreetMap records inside Apex’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, and from the other lists on this site. A place is on this page only if its own website, checked on Oct. 12, 2026, says it has a patio or outdoor seating; a map tag alone was not enough, so some places with outdoor tables may be missing. Phones not on a venue’s site come from Wake County’s restaurant inspection data. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Have a patio we missed? Write to us with a link to your site.
