4 bakeries inside Apex town limits: Groovy Duck downtown on Salem Street, Crumbl at Pine Plaza, Panera at Beaver Creek Commons and Dunkin' on Perry Road.

Last checked Oct. 12, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Apex has one independent bakery with a storefront, Groovy Duck Bakery downtown on North Salem Street, and three chains: Crumbl at Pine Plaza, Panera Bread at Beaver Creek Commons and Dunkin’ on Perry Road. Bakers who sell by order only, with no shop to visit, are not on this list.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Apex’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 12, 2026. We added Crumbl from its own location page, which gives an Apex address. We left out Sweet Memories Bakery on West Williams Street: its web address is now for sale, and it is not in Wake County’s restaurant inspection data. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run a bakery in Apex? Write to us to correct your entry or to be added.
